We are proud of every First Option employee. Together, we change lives every day. Because of the pride we have in our team members, we want to share a little more about them with you. In this employee spotlight series, one member from each of our nine branches will be highlighted.
This spotlight is on a Denver team member, Rebecca Carr. We asked Rebecca to tell us a little bit about herself. Her answers are below.
Where are you from, Rebecca?
I’m a Denver native!
Just for fun… how tall are you?
How many years have you worked at First Option?
Four and a half.
What is your favorite animal?
Horses, hands down.
They are such sensitive and emotional animals, it’s fascinating. Plus they’re absolutely beautiful.
What was your favorite TV show growing up?
Definitely Where in the World is Carmen San Diego! (Ooh, Botswana to Thailand, Milan via Amsterdam, Mali to Bali, Ohio, Oahu…!)
Excellent choice – and thank you for the serenade. What do you like most about Denver?
There are too many reasons to list. I could go on forever. I love all the days of sunshine while still experiencing four seasons. I love that my backyard is an outdoor enthusiast’s playground with camping, snowboarding, hiking, running and biking. In addition to all the wonderful outdoor activities, we have an incredible city full of live music, great restaurants and exciting sports teams.
How did you end up with First Option?
My friend’s husband works for First Option and he made me realize I should get back into lending – and that First Option was the place to do it!
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to get people into their dream home and set them on a better financial path than they were before they started working with me.
What is your greatest memory at First Option so far?
I genuinely don’t think I could pick just one. I have so many great memories of working with wonderful clients over the years.
Give us one parting piece of advice for homebuyers in Denver.
We are very fortunate to live in a housing market that improves daily – don’t miss out on that opportunity!
